It’s Possible To Go See Some Of The Most Popular TV Cartoon Characters In Southern California
In recent months I’ve had the chance to go to most of the seven major theme parks in So Cal. If you would like to see some of the beloved animated movie and TV characters “live” these parks are the place for you.
Of course Disneyland is the first park that comes to mind, with Dumbo, Mickey, Goofy and the others. Check out the SoCal Vacation Guru for useful information and tips from locals about a vacation at Disneyland. Disney has no-doubt done the most effective job of bringing imaginary characters to life, much to the delight of us all.
A few miles down the road at Knott’s Berry Farm you’ll find all the Peanuts gang at Camp Snoopy. The Peanuts guys have been at Knott’s Berry Farm for quite awhile now and seem to feel at home there.
Your next stop would be Universal Studios Hollywood and the many TV and movie stars such as Betty Boop, the Hulk, Batman and Spiderman, joined most recently by Homer Simpson and his wonderful family. The SoCal Vacation Guru has a lot of information to help you visit your favorite Universal Studios characters.
The third park to visit for characters would be Six Flags Magic Mountain up in Valencia. The features that set this park apart from many others are the Six Flags roller coasters and thrill rides. But skulking around the place are the nutty characters of Warner Brothers cartoons, notably the Looney Tunes guys.
You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. The childrens’ area has attractions centered around these whacky celebrities, which is a nice break from the thrill rides that dominate the place. The characters are very charming and are pretty easy to find around the mountain.
