Cassandra Ventura (born August 26, 1986), also known by her stage name Cassie, is an American singer, model, and an occasional actress. Cassie was born in Connecticut, and moved to New York City after graduating high school to continue her careers in modeling & music. After being introduced to producer Ryan Leslie, she was signed to his music-media company, NextSelection. Leslie wrote and produced Cassie’s first single, “Me & U”, which became a super hit in 2006.

Keri Lynn Hilson (born December 5, 1982) is an American singer & entertainer who is signed to Zone 4, Mosley Music Group and Interscope Records. Keri is part of a collective of producers & writers known as The Clutch. Through the early and late 2000s, Hilson wrote songs for different rappers & singers, including Britney Spears and Ludacris.
